This map depicts Ohio with its counties named and in contrasting colors Topographical features are shown with major cities, towns and waterways located. Various land routes, stage routes; steamboat and rail routes are identified.

Insets, bottom, depict the “PROFILE of the OHIO AND ERIE CANAL” and the “PROFILE of the MIAMI CANAL”.  A very detailed view of the state as it existed prior to the Civil War!
