“ARIZONA” New York: Arbuckle Bros., c. 1889. Color-lithograph with original color.
This colorful miniature map of the Territory of Arizona (admitted as a state in 1912) was produced by the Arbuckle Coffee Company as an incentive to purchase their coffee. The area, population, major cities, towns and rivers are identified. The surrounding views depict Native Americans and several of their implements and beadwork.
