This map depicts Kentucky with its counties in contrasting colors and topographical features detailed.  Many cities and towns are located and various land, water, steamboat and rail routes are identified.

The inset, upper right, lists the Steam Boat Routes from “Louisville to Pittsburg” and “Louisville to New Orleans “.

Also included are detailed insets of the Environs of Lexington, Environs of Clarksburg & Washington, and “Falls of Ohio”.  An excellent view of the state as it existed prior to the Civil War!
