This detailed Railroad Map depicts Colorado near the end of the nineteenth century with its 56 counties (today there are 64 counties) named and in contrasting colors. Topographical features are shown with major towns, cities, mountains, land-routes, and water routes are identified.

The Continental Divide, Post Offices, and Coal Mines (Garfield County) are also located.  Railroads are identified on the map and with the key, upper left.
