Topographical features are shown and major cities (including Constantinople, Bagdad, Jerusalem, and Jaffa), towns, waterways, deserts and mountains are identified. A dashed line shows the boundary between Europe and Asia.
A fine example from Finley’s atlas which was highly praised for its elegance and clarity.
