This leaf contains text from John 8:49 – 10:18: ''Ihesus antwurt…'' (Jesus answered: I have not a devil: but I honor my Father, & you have dishonored me. And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh & judgeth. Amen, Amen I say unto you: If any man keep my word, he shall not see death forever…Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents; but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. I must work the works of him that sent me, whilst it is day; the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world Jesus said: For judgment I am come into this world; that they who see not, may see; & they who see, may become blind…I am the good shepherd; & I know mine, & mine know me. As the Father knoweth me, & I know the Father: & I lay down my life for my sheep. And other sheep I have, that are not of this fold: them also I must bring, & they shall hear my voice, & there shall be one fold & one shepherd. Therefore doth the Father love me: because I lay down my life, that I may take it again…).
