Bronze & Enamel Ring
Eastern Roman - Byzantine, c. 6th – 9th Century AD
An interesting and unusual ancient bronze ring with colored enamel insets into cells in the high, oval bezel. The bezel has serrated edges. Enamel embellished rings are not commonly encountered.
In excellent wearable condition with a smooth dark surface patina. The band is slightly out of round.
