A crisp original etching by Charles Miller - signed in the plate. Miller (1842-1922) exhibited a fondness for old farms and mills of “then-rural Queens County”. Exhibited at the National Academy of Design from 1860; was among the first Americans to study in Munich at the Bavarian Royal Academy under Adolf Lier; learned to etch from Alfred Cadart.
