This scarce and important map depicts Virginia, Maryland and Delaware with the states delineated and counties named and in contrasting color.  Topographical features are shown and major towns, cities, water routes and wagon roads are located. 

Copper and coal mines are noted, and the site of the Battle Sept 15, 1814 is noted outside Baltimore. There is excellent detail along the coast and in Chesapeake Bay. Two distance scales show American and Geographical Miles.   An essential map for collectors of this region.
