MEDIEVAL BRONZE SIGNET RING
Continental Europe (Probably Germany), Circa 14th - 15th Century AD
A substantial medieval European bronze ring with a banded “S” as a signet on the bezel. The ring was formed by “lost wax” casting. The high ovoid bezel has eight notched indentations and the wide band is crosshatched.
Continental Europe, probably Germany, circa mid 1300-1400’s.
In excellent wearable condition, with deep greenish-black surface toning.
