This map depicts all of Northeastern Africa in great detail.  It extends from Tripoli past Egypt and the Red Sea to the Arabian Peninsula and south to the Equator. Topographical features are shown with major towns, cities, mountains, islands, deserts, oases, and water routes identified. Tribes are located throughout.  

Numerous additional notes describe the topography, locate pyramids, ruins and caravan routes. Between Egypt and Tripoli is a shaded area with the description: ''Neutral Ground claimed by Tribe of Egypt and Tripoli''.  The inset, upper right, depicts the ''Delta of the Nile''.
