This handsome historical map depicts Massachusetts, including Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, with its counties named and in contrasting colors. Topographical features are depicted with major cities, towns, mountains, islands and waterways identified.
Lighthouses and the “Middlesex Canal” also located. Even the major wagon roads are shown throughout the state. A fine example from Finley’s scarce atlas, which was highly praised for its elegance and clarity.
