This extremely graphic map depicts central Boston in remarkable detail. Rapid Tranist Lines are shown in red. The "Boat ride to see points of interest from Charles River" is shown along with bridges and wharfs. The index locates 7 Points of interest, 49 Hotels and 36 Theaters within the map. Surrounding the map the indexed buildings are illustrated and numbered.
In unusually good condition with minor fold wear !!! Separately issued advertising maps such as this one, were intended to be well used - continually folded and unfolded, or posted unprotected as a means of advertising the Company. As a result, most do not survive; those which do are often in poor condition.
