This historical map depicts New England and the state of New York. Counties are named and in contrasting colors and each county is dated with its year of establishment. Topographical features are shown and most major towns, cities, and water routes are identified.
The routes from New York to Halifax and Liverpool are given in Nautical Miles. An interesting view of the region as it was known in the early 1870’s.
