Original printed Missal leaf executed with original hand-illumination. 42 lines of Latin text printed on paper in black and red in two columns. (325 x 210mm – 12 7/8 x 8 1/4''). 

One nine-line miniature painting depicting five men discussing the teachings of Christ Jesus in tempera colors of blue, red, white, pink and liquid gold; one six-line illuminated initial in sepia and liquid gold on a ground of blue and white.

Precise printing information is unknown, but the type and typographical style indicate it is probably the Giunta Press. Venice, c. 1500-30.

The red ''F'' begins II Thessalonians 2:1-8: ''Fratres...'' (And we beseech you, brethren, buy the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of our gathering together unto him: That you be not easily moved from your sense, nor be terrified, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by epistle, as sent from us, as if the day of the Lord were at hand...).

The red ''Q'' begins Psalm 79 (King James 80) 1-3: ''Qui regis...'' (Give ear, O thou that rulest Israel: thou that leadest Joseph like a sheep...).

The miniature painting begins Luke 3:1-6: ''Anno...'' (Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar...he came into all the country about the Jordan, preaching the baptism of penance for the remission of sins; As it was written in the book of the sayings of Isaiah, the prophet: A voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight his paths...And all flesh shall see the salvation of God).
