This very scarce map was issued in the First Edition of “The American Lawyer” by Delos W. Beadle. The book was a guide to the laws and regulations of the various states.
This map depicts Maine with the counties named and delineated. Major cities and towns, islands, railroads and waterways are located. The northwest "Boundary according to Treaty of 1783" is also shown.
