This handsome 19th century map is by one of the leading private map-publishing firms in the U.S. during the latter half of the 19th century. France is delineated with its Provinces and Departments identified. Southern England is also shown - including London. Topographical features are well detailed with major land, rail and water routes identified.
Also provided is an inset of French “Corsica”. A very complete view of France as it was known in the mid 19th century.
