This 19th century city plan depicts Charleston as it existed in the 1890’s.  Railroads, major streets, cemeteries, stock yards and the Washington Race Course are located.  

Numerous buildings are also located including the South Carolina Military Academy, Custom House, City Hall, US Court House and USPO. A very interesting and detailed view of Charleston prior to the 20th century!
