This very detailed historical map depicts Ireland with the four provinces named. Counties are named and in contrasting outline color. Topographical features are shown and major cities, towns, waterways, mountains (several with elevations provided), islands, lighthouses and railroads are located. 

Distances are also provided from numerous Irish cities to English and Scottish cities. “Lead mine” outside Clare, “copper mines” in Wicklow County, several “race courses” and numerous Abbeys are also noted.

The key, lower right provides a glossary of Irish geographical terms.
