This attractive map depicts present-day Poland, Lithuania, Belarus and part of the Ukraine. Engraved by Johannes Condet, the map extends east to Moscow (shown in the border at the right), and south to the northern tip of the Black Sea at "Oczakow" (near Odesa). Topographical features are shown and major cities, towns, waterways, forests and mountains are located.
The title cartouche is flanked by two heralding angels mounted on hippocampi.
